Re: Robocop police car dio

Gareth James » Mar 22 '14
Found completed Robo 1 police car languishing on Fleabay- not quite a glue bomb but got it for £10 so well chuffed. Cut the door out with thread and the idea is to have it damaged from gunfire- didn`t need an unmade model.

The Robocop figure on its way is 1:20, the car 1:25- so could be some scale issues, will have to see.

Come quietly or there will be......trouble.

Some progress despite work being a constant ball ache.

Primed Robocop and need to do something with the windows on the police car to denote some bullet hits.

coming on nicely Gareth, love those bullet holes..

being an American car shouldn`t it have exploded and jumped 20 feet in the air by now? :-)

Making some steady progress- bullet shattered windows thanks to PVA glue and sugar.

Finished. Robocop was a white metal figure (unknown manufacturer) I just could`nt get the seam lines down any further. The quality wasn`t great so I left him as a satin/matt coat so moulding imperfections wouldn`t be too obvious. Scale wasn`t quite right so dropped the road surface in front of the vehicle where he stands to give some forced perspective with the car.

Dead or alive your coming with me........
