Re: my mpc snowspeeder dio

eh up all.

i`ve been buildin my snowspeeder which i got at the crewe show last year.and like the group build i went for it in a hanger sort of scene.

firstly i was happy ish with the outer detail but the cockpit was abit bland so i started makin the seat`s bigger and addin some flight control systems as in flight pedals and more control panels then i added seat belts and fibre optics in all control panels finally the lightin test, which i was pretty happy with but it was a big pain to get the fusellage all sealed up

the next step was to do some work on the outside detail,at first i was happy but doin all the work on the cockpit changed that!so i opened up some panels and made some new maintenance bays where there was some grillin style detail

and i wanted it appear as if it was floatin on some pre flight checks, which i used some of the kids old sparkler wire which they had kindly left on me back garden floor,so my idea was to have it re-fuellin

next i started to knock up the base, which i used some 1mm thick styrene and a kids bendy strawi have done a lot more but i have`nt re-sized the images yet but i`ll sort that out tomoz...hope ya all like.....cheers peza

Seat belts!

Sea belts sound like something you`d wear to combat sea-sickness!

eh up buddy i thank you! i used some foil off the top of a morrison`s milkshake container with some toilet roll glued to the top to make it look like material instead of a smooth surface, and the buckles i used half mm thick styrene..lol i had to check that i did`nt write sea belt`s....cheers peza

eh up all.

i`ve got the last of my back log images of the snowspeeder on the stand

next i started on 1 of the groundcrew here are the figures i went for.

next i had to change the arms on my fella cos he`s made to hold a rifle.so first off i changed 1 arm to be restin on his leg,and the other arm i wanted to have a workin torch in his hand,so i started with a pin vice and a dremel through his foot and comin out under his armpit

next i had to file the inside of his arm and a lot out of his hand to make it appear that it`s in his hand and not beside it.

so thats me so far...i`ll post some more once i get a bit more completed....cheers peza!!!
