Poe Dameron's X-Wing

James Porter » Sep 8 '16

Hi all,

well i've been plugging away on this Revell kit for some time and although Revell get a hard time especially after the battle with Bandai i thought i'd have a crack at their odd scale kit which is roughly 1:43 scale or so i have been told.

I have opened up one side of the kit and added a lot of greeblies to simulate the inner working of the ship:

Great build (I added the pictures in for you).

What did you think of the Revell version?

it's actually not a bad kit but it's really a toy that has to be assembled

rather than an actual model in the true sense. for those on a limited budget

who don't have access to the bandai smodels then it's a good option especially for

people new to modelling, there is plenty of scope there for more experienced builders

as well.

the detailing could be more crisp and it could do with a boost in the cockpit aea.

it could also do with a pilot figure and a better seat but some greeblies and items

from the spares box helped alot.

i'd give it a 7/10 over all.
