It was all going just too well and I`ve cocked it up!!!!. Put the decals in the wrong place like an idiot- moved the spectrum roundel with some repairable damage but totally screwed up the SPV decal so it can`t be used!!!!

Haven`t got a clue what to do about it- anyone got a scan/ability to do one on the site? AAAAARRGH!!!

He most certainly is not!!!

Can do decals for you, I would just need the scan or artwork and know the size of the decal that is needed.  The sheets come in 2 types.  Clear is fine for white/silver backgrounds and they are not 100% opaque.  White is solid and fine if you can trim precisely to remove the white or the background is white it wont notice.

Let me know how I can help.  Going to print a couple of white ones for the Iron Man bases so can easily squeeze something else on.

Apart from the missing decal (hopefully sorted) the SPV is complete. I`ve added some extra drive wheels to the tracks and headlights. Replaced the side Spectrum roundel with ones from the Airfix Angel interceptor which were far better quality.

I purposely didn`t paint the front bumper lines as its impossible to get these straight and really does detract from the finished kit- drybushed them black instead. Base is a lid from a biscuit tin which I polished off over Christmas- all in the name of the hobby of course!

Will try and get them done for you before the end of the week.  Might get them in the post at the weekend if I can get them printed tomorrow for you.

Looks great though!

I`m having an issue getting the replacement decal done for Gareth as the scan I have isn`t very good.  What would be the best starting point is identifying the font and using that to do a fresh graphic.

But no idea what they`ve used.  Would anyone know or be able to identify it?

Hi Alun

I`ve had a look through my fonts (over 1000 of the buggers!) and the closest I could come up with is the Compacta BT family. They do need a little tweaking, but are a good starting point. If you don`t have it installed, I can email it to you, just PM me your email address and I`ll fire it over.

Great work on the SPV Gareth. Glad to see you managed to get a really good colour match.
