I am not sure about the rest, but I could really do with a base in the very near future. my model is almost done, I am starting the painting on the ladies of the ground crew. I have some base materials I want to add, but until I have the actual base to work on, I am a bit stuck there

Anyone heard from Blitzspear recently?

Worst case I can make my own, and we will all just have to hope the marry up. If we agreed on a base colour of say Tamiya desert yellow for the sand/ground colour, we should at least look like they sort of work together?

Just a quick add on with this. Argos have got playsand for 2.99 for a very large bag. If we agree on a size then we should be able to make our own up.
Then if an inch gap between each base is left it leaves an imagination gap for mismatching lines.

so, what... MDF?

what thickness do you reckon? I have lots of 9mm MDF. But I think we used 18mm on the viper base.

Sure 9mm would be fine, but will leave you guys to sort out what you need.

I used 12mm for the Star Wars Hanger and that was fine.  Think the 18mm was just because that was what Pete had, plus needing to route shapes into it.
