Is it just me or are updates and notifcations all messed up for everyone?

1) The Last Reply column entry in the forum home page does not show the last reply

2) the Notifications button doesn't seem to get a highlight when there are notifications, and the drop down list don't seem to be in most recent order. They also don't clear from this list once visited.

3) Don't get any email notifcations at all (always had a problem with this, used to be sporadic)

4) The "Forum topics" column on the site home page seems to list posts on Toby's Y-Wing thread that don't exist in the actual thread

A couple of other suggestions

1) could the various links to new posts take you to the actual post, rather than the start of the thread?

2) This is another old one but I can only be logged in on one device at a time. PC, phone, work PC - soon as I log in on one, it kicks me off the previous. This is probably the no 1 reason for not using the site more than I do

Sorry for moaning :)

Thanks for the notes Ant.  I'd picked up on the forum going to top of the thread rather than the last post but not spotted the other issues.  We suspected that the "non-jumping to the end" might have been to do with importing the threads from one forum to another but that now doesn't seem to be the case as new threads are still going to the top.

The difference between the newsfeed and forum list is interesting.  I've noticed that it sometimes takes a minute for a new forum post to appear in the newsfeed but it appears on the forum list instantly.  Might be to do with how often the database refreshes (guessing here).  Also the newsfeed shows when posts are updated where the forum list doesn't.  So for example I've just updated Toby's post to make the images a litle smaller and that pops them back into the newsfeed.

I seem to be getting notifications but I know that email has been an issue from the start.  I suspect (just suspect mind you) that it could be related to moving the site from one provider (where there were numerous issues) to another. We did having it running initially as we tested it out and was definitely working, but something may have updated in the background I guess?

I'll speak to Mark and see what can be done to iron these out. Not sure we can do anything about staying logged in on multiple devices as that might be embedded within the system.

There was an update for the forum plugin but it doesn't seem to have made any difference for me. Am looking through the actual code but I'm not familiar with the platform's way of using PHP.
