Re: Site Problems

Sorry to have been so quiet on this for a while but we have been looking into various options and seeing if the problem can be identified.

The Oxwall (the system we are using) people looked at the site but couldn`t replicate our problem so couldn`t help. To be honest they didn`t put a lot of effort into it though.

I`ve also been through it with our hosting provider. And again they can`t identify any problem and suggest it`s with Oxwall.

So we`ve been going in circles and not getting any closer to identifying the problem. The odd thing is that everything was fine for several months when we kicked off and the problem of being locked out didn`t arise until recently. So something has changed somewhere.

In desperation we are currently looking to move to another provider. This may take us several weeks as we need to be absolutely sure they can support Oxwall as we really don`t want to have to move content again.

So please bear with us while we get this sorted.

I hate software. I don`t know why I chose it as a profession....

Good luck and well done with the perseverence!

Update: We`ve identified a new hosting package which we hope will alleviate the problems. We need to get the transfer done and hopefully that won`t take too long.

I`m back in after being locked out for a month...fingers crossed it stays open.

Looks like it`s been quiet around here, isn`t anybody building anything or are we in holiday mode/season?.
