Resin Terminator cyborg

Gareth James » Feb 14 '16

Quick in progress shot- still plenty to do, couple of flesh shades down, base still needs work and plenty of other tweaks to do. One from the stash, manufacturer unknown.

That's sculpted by Mike Baldwin of underworld kits....based on the bisley artwork. Nice kit.

Cheers for that Pete- its been lying around for a long time. Not much to update really- basic Wilko's chrome paint on the exposed exo skeleton and few more flesh layers to add. Gonna try and use some pastel's to finish the whole thing off but their such a pain to adhere to the kit and tend to rub off with even the lightest handling.

A VERY fine misting of dullcote will seal pastels no problem, let it dry then you can hit them again with a heavier coat.

Think I'm done.  Not gonna light the eyes- far too much of a hassle. Thought about adding some bits to the base, but it'll wait.

Nice job there Gareth, skin tones look good, battle wounds are nicely done as well.

Did you use the pastels ?

Love the movement in this.

Looks like it's just spun round ready to fire.

Used some mixed pastels on the flesh just to finish it off- thanks for the comments Pete.
