Re: Kane - WIP

Been rattling through this one trying to get finished in time for Telford.

Not many words, but here`s a few pics. I`m using 1206 sized surface mount LEDs with appropriate 0805 sized resistor soldered on the back & hooked up with wire-wrap wire.

Fantastic Ant- that helmet panel is awesome! Fingers crossed you get it ready for Telford, I`d love to see it there.

You should be dubbed Raiden, oh hang on he is the lightNing god isn`t he (Mortal Kombat joke)? Great job there Ant. Your work truly is something to behold, and something to aim for.

Really looking good Ant, fantastic progress- you must of lived and breathed this kit over the past couple of weeks ! - all the tonal colour changes in the clothing, strapping, etc- its a very complex and time consuming kit to paint for sure.

The face turned out great and I love the `beaten` feel to the suit- `Alien` makes it quite clear the crew have environmental suits as opposed to spacesuits, which suggests some heavy weathering.

Its not a likeness to John Hurt (but much better than the terrible Kane Hot Toys` figure) so I wonder why the luvvie wouldn`t agree to his features being used?

Wonderful job- its gonna turn a few heads at Telford for sure.
