"Back home we got this taxidermy man, he`s gonna have a heart attack when he sees what we brung him!"

Picked this up from the recent UKGK show- 1/6 resin and a pretty good likeness to the Robert Shaw character. Display wise I`m gonna go for a nod to the whole movie rather than try to recreate a scene from the film itself. Started work on the barrel and I`ll chuck some other bits in there as well.

Some progress in the bits of time between going to work and washing up. Using Citadel paints (chosen weapon of the Warhammer boys) need toning down- but great coverage and some nice colours, the jacket is `Caliban green` (!). Started a base as well.

Some of the sculpt is a bit clumsy I`ve noticed. Bottom of the shirt tails have been left thick and the hand not grasping the rifle lacks any detail around the fingers. Almost as though anything that may be out of sight has been basically, well left.

Y`all know me. Know how I earn a `livin. I`ll catch this bird for you, but it aint gonna be easy.

All `fin` ished. A nod to the movie as a whole with barrel, numberplate, beach sign and the unfortunate kid Kitner`s eaten airbed. The bitten buoy is a bit of artisitic licence.

I still haven`t quite got the eyes right- the area to work in so tiny with the facial squint that it proved a real challenge. Gonna have to go back to it.

Here`s some pics including a de-saturated 70`s era one.
