Just joined and into SF in a large way , ive been building models for the last five years and I have just got into building SF over the past year now that I`ve learnt a bit more about weathering and such

I hope to make friends and enjoy talking about and looking at everyone`s models and post one or two of my own :)

Hello Alan

Nice to see another person from Devon here! What`s your main squeeze in the SF universe (I`m guessing SW plays a big part from your picture)?

Hello Martin , surprisingly SW isn`t my favourite I like it simply for the ships and vehicles my main passion in SF is Battlestar both the old and new , fringe is my second favourite but there`s no models for that lol

I do love the original Battlestar, but couldn`t get to grips with the new version. The way it was shot didn`t help, I could go on a big rant about camera men needing a good kick in the bollocks these days, but I won`t.

As for me I`m a big fan of Alien and Aliens (but not so much 3 & 4), most British Sci-Fi because we do appreciate the darker side of life, Gerry Anderson, Mechs and Japanese stuff and yes the obligatory SW (original trilogy and hopefully the new series as well!) and Star Trek.
