Re: Happy Christmas

The turkey may not make it to Boxing Day, I fear. All the best to you and the family, Alun. May the pile under the tree include a model or three.

Indeed to everyone, a very Merry Christmas, flood free and and warm! Happy New Year!

Happy Christmas guys!

There`s a present under our tree, square, just the right shape for a Halcyon USS Sulaco, but also just right for a Lynx body/shampoo gift set.

Mmm............,

Happy Christmas to all and I have to say Holy Crap did I get what I wanted. My darling partner found me a Halcyon Aliens Drop Ship still sealed in the bag. I`m now on the look out for a decent 72 scale AH64 Apache so I can nick the cockpit. I am officially a happy bunny.

very quiet xmas for us here in the Murray household.. off Stateside in January so all the moneys been going into that.. any present giving will be done with buying stuff over there though I have found a distinct lack of model shops doing scifi in Orlando.. ..

Marten, the dropships a great kit though make sure you have some plasticard handy if your having the main weapon wings in the opened position.. they need some covering and detailing on the inside faces.. hunt around and you will find a 1/72 APC and upgraded weapons too.. I know BabBam do one - http://www.bambammodelproductions.com/blog/shop/

Happy Christmas to all! I don`t know what I`ve got yet, present wise, as I`ve been poorly sick in bed since Monday. Christmas is on hold for now.

Congrats to those with model related gifts, I don`t think any of mine will be this year, but that`s fine. My modeling Christmas will be February 4th when my daughter gets back from the states with a suitcase full of resin n plastic goodies!

Hi Alan

Thanks for the link and advice on the weapons pods. All I have to do now is decide on how to pose it. Everyone seems to have it landing on LV426 and I really hate following the pack...

Did Alun sort out your White Star decals yet? Sorry I haven`t been in touch about them, it`s just that I am finally able to start getting around and am able to use my PC.

I`m sure you`ll have a great time in Florida and remember if you`re off to Disney, they now own Star Wars...

Hey Marten,

Alun`s just back so no hurry on the decals.. worst thing about Disney is I`m not actually that much into Star Wars but no doubt Ill see plenty of SW/Disney crossovers while I`m there.. more interested in the things like Universal and Epcot really..

Should be an interesting trip though.. with a bit of luck I`ll pick up a kit or two while Im away

Need to just check the sizing when I get a moment. But have the paper to hand and if can be sure they`re the right size I`ll get them printed when get back to work on the 2nd.

Not that much Star Wars stuff to be honest at Disney. There is a Jedi training camp at Hollywood Studios which has a giant AT-AT and you can build your own lightsabre in some of the shops. Was going to do that but the quality was so low that I didn`t bother in the end. There is the Star Tours ride as well but that has been there for years. Long before they owned the rights.
