Re: Streaking grime

HEY all knowing forum peeps

I am planing on using ak interactive streaking grime for the first time. I want to run it through my airbrush onto a larger area.

I`ve seen vids where pledge with future shine is used so the grime can be buffed off.

The video is American so I can`t be sure the UK product is the same. I was wondering if I could use acrylic varnish but am nor sure of the oderless thinner will remove the paint.

Looking for any advice at all.

The model is an ork deff dread. I`ll also be using this on a battle star viper. Both aren`t small

Many thanks in advance for any help

The stuff you want to look out for is called Klear in the UK.

Not sure what AK use as a base. But you just need to not use the same to seal. So if AK is a white spirit base then use an acrylic seal or vice versa. Hope that makes sense.

This is the stuff:

http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/gb/groceries/pledge-multi-surface-wax-750ml?langId=44&storeId=10151&krypto=tmI1xvK5ERk4MsBfj1DMn4NHXNnYoFx6eHZ7t7xV1FDzwXRpj5MI32tISbRnKPaf1Iaf5h2ZFH8U%0Ad8ZtasNzyICtiOCqgU21xnBn%2Bb%2BccKXT%2F8n4pVLATO9aUyZoHQB7&ddkey=http:gb/groceries/pledge-multi-surface-wax-750ml

Not used this formula so can`t confirm its the same as it used to be.

Just to let you know that the new formula is cloudy, but don`t panic, it still dries clear. The smell is different as well, not that that has much baring on it`s coverage!
