Under intense pressure from the other half to clean `those plastic things that attract dust` I decided to have a go.

Despite handling 20+ year old kits like you would an unexploded bomb it was still a disaster; scrub one halcyon predator and Queen alien, and don`t forget the tail from Alien 3.

Damn.

I feel your pain, are they beyond help, or can they go into surgery to be resurrected from the dead? Or are you going to mount the heads as hunting trophies?

I know it doesn`t help much now, but I use a soft shaving brush (or a blusher brush) to dust things with.

If you`ve got years of ingrained dust, I find a good but gentle wash with a soft brush and warm soapy water followed by a good rinse works wonders  - as long as there`s nothing non-waterproof on/in the kit

Alien Queen and predator a total loss- Alien 3 bit of blu tack on tail and as good as new!
