So what did everyone think.

Liked him and so glad they`re moving away from the Tweenies generation where the Doctor was the boyfriend to all the companions.

Looking forward to seeing more.

thought the story was pretty lame.. same with Drax the Sontaran seems to be the comedy element now..

The Scottish stereotypes were notable but I must say by the end of the episode Capaldis doctor was growing on me.. probably from the tramp scene onwards where his new nature started to come out..

Tardis looks not bad, consoles a vast improvement

Next week has the daleks so that`s instantly going to peak my interest, to me theyre the only original Dr Who creatures that have actually improved over time (with the exception of those coloured efforts - awful design)

Yep, story could have definitely used some work.  Wonder who the new baddie is?

Let`s see what happens next week.

First episode, like the doctor, not the plot. Last night`s episode was great. Showing a side where the doctor wants to be a good man, but really is not the best, just trying to be.

Well looking promising.

Anyone noticed how the Doctor is stepping back and letting people sacrifice themselves without saying a word.  Think he`s got a dark side going on there.

Only watched  the first 15 mins of the first episode, really wasn`t impressed.  Watched all of the second episode....nice to see the Dr as a bit of a dark character.  Only downside for me was the Dalek...I`m really tired of seeing `em.  Overall, I`m still undecided as to these new episodes.. :/

I agree with Chris, not the best of dalek stories, they really need to give them a decent rest for a while.. speaking of which I believe the series is getting a years rest after this current season apparently..

Liking how this doctor is going though as a character.. he needs the mystery and unpredictability

Both my wife and I prefer the pre 2005 Dr Who stories and actors, the stories suffer from the format of 1 episode shows(45mins), also, the continuity has suffered (since when have Cybermen been from earth?) They resemble iron man`s suit! Daleks had improved, apart from the paradigiem colours! Too many effects and not enough original stories!

Really enjoyed the Robots of Sherwood episode, harks back to some of the classic episodes. Lots of humour, great action and PC looking like he`s finding his feet (anyone spot the Pertwee reference?). Liked this much more than the previous two episodes.

Now that was much more like it!

Story driven, some back plot and highly watchable. The other even had a bad nights sleep as a result.
