Hi all,

I have just helped my eldest son james sign up to SFM:uk again. he is currently going through a very exciting time.

As part of his scouting work, he applied to go to the World Scout jamboree in Japan. He was successful, so in 2015, he is off to Japan for almost three weeks in the summer. This is a huge opportunity for him.

At the moment, he is concentrating on achieving his Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award. He has chosen to use model making as his `skill` area. As such he has been beavering away the last few weeks at some modelling projects.

We need an independent `expert` to act as an assessor of his skills. would anyone here be happy to act in this role. all you would need to do is jot down a few comments about some of his recent work, when we post it on the site, once Alun as authorised his membership.

I might also be asking you guys for ideas as to how we can help him raise the 3000 pounds he needs to fund raise in order to get to Japan! any ideas are very welcome.

Regards.

Paul M.

Hi Paul (and James)

All approved so you should be ready to go.

Let me know if anything I can do for the DoE award. Did it myself years back so know it`s not easy.
