Re: Another re-boot, hmmmm

Read today that only just yesterday a green light had been given to a new film" re-imagining" of Battlestar Galactica.

Now it`s well known that Brian Singer had planned on making a film pre 2004 series reboot, but pulled out of the project to full fill his X-men agenda.

The new project is still not his. No further info has been leaked just yet but as a fan of both tos and the later series I have a certain trepidation. Thoughts anyone?

I actually am looking forward to reboot if one does come to fruition. Liked the new Star trek movies and the more sci-fi films the better rehashes or not . ;)

yep, could be. Was very sceptical about the Trek reboot but love the thing. Galactica needs to be in a class of it`s own.

Didn`t BSG just finish last week? or it seems that way.. They should wait at least 10 years before a reboot, far too soon in my mind..

Too soon. Remember that Caprica flopped and wasn`t there that recent origins story about Adama?

Surely there has to be some new stories to tell rather than constant reboots of things. Waiting for Spider-Man to start again...
