Well folks the Queen is now finished and I`m really happy with her. I`d like to give a special shout out to Alun, Pete and Gareth for your input regarding her teeth. So without further ado, here she is (I`ve put the pics in a Photobucket slideshow to save server space!):

The base is a temp one as I haven`t finished the Power Loader yet. More on that subject to come...

Teeth worked well Marten, great job. Made this a long time ago, but I remember its a bugger to balance on the stand. Looking forward to seeing the completed dio.

Thanks guys, it`s always great to hear positive reviews! As for getting her to stand Gareth, I originally just pinned her feet but she kept listing to one side or another, so now she has a rod going where a rod has no place being!

Your wish is my command Alun...

Now, I know she does need a bit more work ;) Repositioning the thumbs and fingers was a bit of a pain, but I get the impression that that`s going to be nothing compared to filling her armpit gap after repositioning her left arm and sorting out her head.

I have even thought of trying to sculpt a completely new head out of Das, trying to make her look like Sigourney Weaver, but the only problem with that is, I`ve never really done anything like that before and yes, frankly, I`m scared of the thought of it.

To be honest with you Marten I wouldn`t attempt to do a resculpt of the face unless you`re pretty confident about it.  It`s about the hardest thing to do and you`ll probably not be able to get it right.  Not to diss your skills but it really is tricky.  So I`d go with that to be frank...

Don`t worry Alun, no disrespect taken. I know a resculpt would require a bit more than, "I`ll give it a bash". It was just one of those fleeting ideas that took up residence in my head. I`ve got enough to do without adding to my headaches!

Could the sharp point on the Queen`s tail be positioned in a failed strike (as the `Aliens` scene) where it hits the loader`s head rest?. You could have Ripley`s head turned away and maybe hide some of the facial features?,
