BUILD: Nebula Class from SFMuk Admin's blog

This is StarCasts 1:2500 all resin Nebula ship. It's a great model, the detail is really sharp and there's plenty of it. I got this kit from Dougie Bain's Starbase EV company (which is no longer trading). Cost was in the region of £35.

There are 8 parts, with the primary and secondary hulls each being one piece. Assembly was straight forwards, although I should add that I did most of the painting while everything was in subassemblies.

Painting was with Tamiya acrylics, applied using both airbrush and by hand.

Decals are from the 1:2500 Enterprise D model, with numbers from a Thomas Models 1:1400 decal sheet (bought from Federation Models not Thomas Models), with quite a few done by myself using the techniques described in the inkjet decals tutorial.

The registration number is the USS Leeds, and I shall add the name at some point.
