The last episode of the Next Generation was shown on 23rd May 1994 so we will be marking the 20th anniversary of this event next year and there will be a group build to mark this.

All entries must fit into the Next Generation era and can be anything from the TV series or movie period (Enterprise D and E) which was seen on screen or is an official and unseen design as long as it fits the period.  Entries can be ships, figures or hardware.  So one of the many plastic and resin ships, out of the box, kit-bash, a figure or a weapon are all eligible. Any race is acceptable, so Federation, Klingon, Ferengi, Cardassian etc are all eligible.

You are only limited to fitting it into the timeframe.  There are literally hundreds of options available so this should not be a problem.

Items from the Archer or Kirk era wont be eligible.  So unless you have a convulted back story as to why a ship for this era is being built then it would not be what is being looked for.

As Voyager and DS9 both took place within the timeframe between the TV Next Generation upto the Insurrection movie, these will fit.  But just consider that the build is Next Generation based and not for these series, so while a model of the Intrepid is fine a figure of Captain Janeway isn't really what we are looking for.

Timeline and Deadline

Builds should be done specifically for this Group Build and should not commence before 24th November 2013 and all builds should start with a picture of the model with proof of the day started (that days newspaper for example).  All models will then need to be completed by 23rd May 2014.

Models which have been started but not completed can be restarted for this Group Build as long as there is a substantial amount still to be done on them.
